About the position of Facility Coordinator Hard Service
For our location in Schiedam, we are looking for a Facility Coordinator Hard Service who can guide technical projects from A to Z.
In this technically challenging role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing hard service-related projects and activities. These projects relate to our buildings and associated installations. As part of the facility and maintenance department, you will serve as a technical project manager for renovations, replacements, and improvements.
What do we expect of you?
You have a strong technical foundation and a passion for the built environment. You combine your technical knowledge with management skills to ensure 30,000m² of production halls, 10,000m² of offices, and 90,000m² of grounds function optimally from a technical perspective.
Your key responsibilities:
- Leading hard service projects from initiation phase to delivery.
- Managing procurement processes including drafting (technical) requirements and specifications.
- Coordinating external suppliers and internal operators for hard service-related activities.
- Conducting technical inspections and quality controls.
- Advising on technical solutions and sustainability measures.
- Monitoring budgets, schedules, and safety requirements for projects
Your technical expertise includes:
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security)
- Construction knowledge including maintenance techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of safety regulations and certification requirements
You know how to critically question suppliers about their technical work and can translate complex technical issues into practical solutions.

You have:
- a completed bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
- several years of work experience;
- a project-oriented work approach with a strong focus on detail and quality.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands
- Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
