About the position of Hydraulic Fitter
What to expect of the Hydraulic Fitter position within Huisman?
As a Hydraulic Fitter at Huisman, you are responsible for assembling hydraulic components or installations in accordance with project and safety requirements. You will work in the hydraulic workshop and report to the Hydraulic Fitters Foreman. You will check materials received, build and assemble hydraulic components and test them according to procedures. You will ensure that work is performed competently and efficiently and keep the work area tidy.

What do we expect of you?
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and checking required materials for accuracy and completeness against specifications and hydraulic drawings;
- Build and assemble hydraulic components or assemblies from hydraulic drawings;
- Test and adjust hydraulic components according to procedures;
- Assist in checking and inspecting assemblies from drawings;
- Testing assembled hydraulic components or assemblies according to procedures.

You are:
- Flexible;

- Practical and punctual;
- A team player with a proactive and results-oriented attitude;
- Customer oriented and accurate in checking materials received for accuracy and completeness against specifications and hydraulic drawings;
- Responsible for performing work efficiently and maintaining an orderly workplace.
You have:
- An MBO level of work and thinking;
- Experience reading hydraulic diagrams;
- Specific hydraulic knowledge and experience;
- A full VCA certificate.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
