About the position of Proposal Lead
You can expect a challenging position in an international organisation. You will be part of a dynamic and professional company where innovation, quality, flexibility and creativity are key. As a Proposal Lead, you will be responsible for customer requests from our Sales Service Department. This includes: modifications and innovations, inspections, repairs, maintenance, spare parts, projects, upgrades and warranty challenges. You will then involve your colleagues from other departments in these challenges. We build on the customer relationship by providing customised services. We aim to make our customers operations more efficient and will do our utmost to strengthen them in their current and future business.
What do we expect of you?
This role is perfect for you if you are looking for a new challenge where you will be faced with complex issues and challenges in a dynamic environment. You will be a persuasive and goal-oriented Proposal Lead, acting as a liaison between colleagues in your team, colleagues from other disciplines and the client. As a Proposal Lead, you will be the project manager for your proposal. Once awarded, you will transfer the project to operations and maintain close contact with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory and manage customer service requests;
- Ensure that colleagues from different disciplines are involved to propose the most appropriate solution;
- Project management of a service quotation;
- Identify commercial opportunities from a technical perspective;
- Work with the customer to develop their challenges into practical and commercial solutions;
- Ensure high quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
Wondering if you are 'equipped for impact'?
You are/have:
- Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's degree, in a technical field (Complex Systems Engineering and Management; Systems & Control; Embedded Systems; Electrical Engineering; starter to 5 years of experience in a similar position in a technical organisation);
- Flexible and service-oriented;
- The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and to prioritise;
- Take ownership of the quotation process;
- Strong communication skills and commercial drive;
- A team player who enjoys working in multi-disciplinary teams and can also work independently;
- You know how to motivate and delegate.
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
