About the position of Work Preparations Engineer - Services

As Work preparation Engineer Services, you are responsible for identifying the multidisciplinary scope of work and defining the execution from the handover from sales to outsourcing and execution.

You are not alone in this task; your supporting parties are sales, engineering, supply chain, huisman production locations, other branches, and suppliers.

You monitor the schedule and ensure that the expected quality, quantity, and costs are met. You work on a project basis, are an expert in planning and coordination and have a lot of drive. In addition, you ensure that all delivery requirements, including all documentation, are fully met. This is a full-time position in Schiedam.

What do we expect of you?

You are:

Wondering if you are 'equipped for impact'?

 You have:

  • Completed senior secondary vocational education level-4 training in E&I or H;
  • 3-5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering or hydraulics gained in maritime or oil and gas (or construction) engineering;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings;
  • Knowledge of MS Office, ERP and planning systems;
  • Problem-solving ability: you can quickly and effectively analyse problems and find solutions.

Some practical things we need you to have:

  • An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
  • A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
