About the position of Junior Functional Application Manager (CAD_PLM)
What to expect of the Junior Functional Application Manager (CAD_PLM) position within Huisman?
The junior functional Application Manager is part of the CAD PLM Team, responsible for the complete product life cycle of the CAD, PLM and other technical applications used within Huisman global. The team knows the business processes, the organization, and the applications based on which we deliver first class support, business analyses, change management and vendor management. Currently the CAD PLM application team is focusing on expanding the PLM functionalities. The ideal candidate has experience in the field of engineering and 3D drawing combined with an above average interest in IT and application development.

What do we expect of you?
Key responsibilities:
- Fast and effective 2nd line incident resolution using our BMC ITSM tool
- Working together with other IT departments and business key users to resolve the more complex issues.
- Timely delivery of service requests
- Functional requirements analysis
- Test activities as part of changes and projects
- Ensure application documentation is up-to-date and available for both IT and business users

You are:
- client and result focussed;

- easy communicator on different organisational levels;
- someone with strong work ethic, a positive attitude, self-motivated and team-oriented
- someone who identify opportunities to continuously improve the quality of our services towards our Huisman global colleagues.
- flexible in working hours; occasional work during evenings or weekends should be expected;
- a junior, keen on learning fast and grow into the more senior roles in the team;
- fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is a plus.
You have:
- Bachelor (HBO) or equivalent ability;
- mnimum of 2/3 years’ working experience in an IT environment, preferably in a global business environment
- general engineering understanding combined with knowledge of/keen interest in IT;
- the ability to easily shift from detailed to holistic view points
- customer relationship skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written;
- the ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and/or sudden increase of work loads;
- no problem with occasional travel for work (could be part of the role).
Some practical things we need you to have:
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
