Offshore Energy Symposium

At Huisman, we connect the future generation of engineers. Therefore, we attended the Offshore Energy Symposium organised by students of the Energy Transition minor at Hogeschool Rotterdam. An event with various speakers, showcasing the latest innovations for the energy & offshore industry.

At the symposium, Peter Berting, Director Global Business Development, presented the Windfarm Installation Vessel (WIV) for the floating installation of next-generation offshore wind turbines and monopile foundations. ​​​​​​​

This meet-up was a nice way to chat with students of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and maritime engineering and a great chance to talk more about our vision to develop a successful energy transition for a sustainable world.
